Established in 1982 as Ortadoğu Rulman Sanayi, ORS Bearings began mass production within just four years of its inception, rapidly increasing its annual production to 4.5 million bearings. Strategic partnerships were key to the company’s early growth, most notably the licensing agreement with SKF Austria that originated from an earlier partnership with Steyr Waelzlager.

By the late ’90s and early 2000s, ORS was heavily invested in quality control and operational excellence, securing a range of ISO certifications. This was soon followed by manufacturing diversifications, including the introduction of Cylindrical and Tapered Roller Bearings.
