Controlflex Couplings

Controlflex couplings, available from Pacific International Bearing Sales, are precision-engineered for high-speed, low-inertia applications such as encoders and tachometers. Featuring a unique three-piece design with two hubs and one or two flexible acetal inserts ("frogs"), these couplings deliver speeds up to 25,000 RPM while minimizing bearing loads and protecting delicate components. The frogs’ flexible limbs isolate vibration and electrically insulate the shafts, as the hubs do not contact each other. Manufactured by Schmidt-Kupplung in Germany, Controlflex couplings are available in clamp style with inch, metric, keyed, and keyless bores from 1/8" to 1-1/2" and 3mm to 40mm, and are RoHS3 compliant.
