Ruland zero-backlash jaw couplings, available through Pacific International Bearing Sales, offer a flexible and customizable solution for applications requiring precise motion control and vibration dampening. Featuring a three-piece design with two aluminum hubs and an elastomeric “spider” insert, these couplings accommodate all forms of misalignment while maintaining zero-backlash performance. Their balanced construction supports speeds up to 8,000 RPM, making them ideal for systems with rapid acceleration and deceleration. Available in clamp or set screw styles with or without keyways, in bore sizes from 1/8" to 1-1/4" and 3mm to 32mm. Spiders are offered in three durometers to match system performance needs.
