KBC Bearings is owned by the Schaeffler Group, manufacturer of FAG and INA bearings. KBC earned its reputation as a leading manufacturer of electric motor quality (EMQ) deep groove ball bearings and tapered roller bearings from Korea.

KBC Bearings

KBC manufactures a complete line of electric motor quality bearings in varying tolerances, clearances, seal and shield options. Most importantly, KBC manufactures their deep groove ball bearings to industry standard noise and vibration requirements to enhance their use in electric motor applications. KBC’s line of 6000, 6200 and 6300 series deep groove ball bearings are available in the following designs: sealed/single or double (D-DD), shielded/single or double (Z-ZZ) and open.

Both KBC  and some select sizes of FAG  single row radial ball bearings come out of the Korean manufacturing facilities.

There are 6 total  KBC/ FAG factories including the R&D center. The following plants are all located in South Korea.

KBC PRODUCTS

KBC Bearings offers a diversified range of products with specific series tailored to meet various industrial requirements:

• 6000, 6000ZZ, 6000DD Series: These are standard radial ball bearings, with the ZZ and DD variants featuring metal shields and rubber seals, respectively, for added protection against contaminants.
• 6200, 6200ZZ, 6200DD Series: A step up in size and capacity, these bearings also come with the option of metal shields (ZZ) or rubber seals (DD) for enhanced durability.
• 6300, 6300ZZ, 6300DD Series: These are larger bearings designed for higher load capacities, also available with metal shields (ZZ) or rubber seals (DD).
• SDA Angular Contact Ball Bearings: Specifically designed for applications requiring axial load support in one direction, these are ideal for high-speed operations.
• Snap Ring Availability (NR): A snap ring is available on all 6000-6300 series, providing a convenient method for locating the bearing on the shaft.

• Metric Tapered Roller Bearings (30200, 30300, 32000, 32200, 32300, 33000, 33200): These bearings are ideal for applications involving combined loads (both axial and radial).
• LM Series Tapered Roller Bearings: Designed for precision and efficiency, these bearings are commonly used in a range of industrial applications.
• M Series Tapered Roller Bearings: These are another variant of tapered bearings, designed for higher load and speed ratings.
• DT Series (Double Row Taper Roller Bearings): Ideal for applications requiring high rigidity, these bearings offer excellent load-carrying capacity.
• K, K..ZW, K..SP Needle Roller Bearings: These needle roller bearings are versatile and compact, suitable for applications with limited radial space but high load-carrying requirements.
