Beam Couplings

Ruland beam couplings, available through Pacific International Bearing Sales, are precision-engineered for high-performance motion control applications. Featuring a balanced, zero-backlash design with multiple spiral cuts, these couplings offer superior angular misalignment capabilities and reduced vibration at speeds up to 6,000 RPM. Manufactured from a single piece of aluminum or stainless steel, they provide enhanced torsional stiffness and flexibility compared to traditional single-beam designs. Ideal for use in encoders, tachometers, and light-duty power transmission, they come in inch, metric, and mixed bore sizes from 3/32" to 3/4" and 3mm to 20mm.
